Two-day lab agenda
Day 1 covers agent foundations and knowledge grounding. Day 2 covers automation, advanced development and your final capstone. Four modules pair practical concepts with hands-on work.
Day 1 · Module 1
Hands-on lab 1: Create your first Copilot agent, configure conversational topics and test interactions.
Day 1 · Module 2
Hands-on lab 2: Build a knowledge-driven agent, create topic routing and improve answer quality.
Day 2 · Module 3
Hands-on lab 3: Build an employee service desk agent, submit requests and automate approvals in the sandbox.
Day 2 · Module 4
Hands-on lab 4: Build a departmental AI assistant, publish to Teams in the lab environment, then test and optimize.
Day 2 · Final capstone
Build and publish a working AI agent tailored to your chosen scenario within the sandbox. Review what it takes to move from the lab to a production implementation.
What you’ll leave with
Practice connecting data, applying security and governance, and deploying an assistant to Teams in the lab environment. Production deployment follows your organization’s access, testing and approval requirements.
