The purpose
Licenses alone do not create adoption.
Many organizations roll out Copilot in pieces: training without a plan, licenses before the team is ready, or support that arrives too late. People use it inconsistently, leaders struggle to see the value, and productivity gains get left on the table.
Getting seats assigned is not the goal. The goal is to make real work easier, safer, and measurable.
The licensing case
At scale, the right CSP deal can change the math.
At the standard $30 price, 1,000 Microsoft 365 Copilot licenses cost $360,000 a year. If your organization qualifies for the strongest current offer, the savings add up fast.

Tell us your plan and seat count. We’ll find the strongest offer you qualify for.
ESS checks current CSP offers against your Microsoft plan, customer status, license count, commitment, market, purchase timing, and renewal date.
- Microsoft/CSP promotion eligibility scan
- Current contract and renewal timing review
- Right-sized plan and seat recommendation
- Written quote showing actual savings
- Tenant provisioning and license assignment
- ESS billing, support, and renewal guidance
Then save on adoption, too.
Qualifying cohorts of 7 or more learners can add the 14-day Copilot Academy launch, with pricing confirmed around the program, delivery format, schedule, and scope.
Pricing was checked September 1, 2026, in USD per user/month for US commercial CSP offers and excludes taxes. Microsoft 365 Copilot standard/reference price is $30; Copilot Business standard/reference price is $21. Promotions do not stack. Actual eligibility depends on product, prerequisite licenses, customer segment/status, seat count, commitment, billing term, market, tenant, renewal timing, purchase date, and active Microsoft promotion IDs. Final pricing is the written ESS quote confirmed in Partner Center. Academy pricing remains subject to final merchandising, cohort, scheduling, capacity, and scope approval.
Let’s check the renewal, the CSP relationship, and the adoption gap.
ESS can review what you have, what you are paying, when it renews, whether another eligible CSP path could save money, and how many licenses people are actually using.
- Inventory current Copilot subscriptions
- Review term, billing, and renewal dates
- Model eligible ESS CSP alternatives
- Avoid overlapping or duplicate commitments
- Right-size seats before renewal or expansion
- Add adoption support without waiting
Existing commitments, cancellation windows, renewal dates, Microsoft rules, and current provider terms may limit whether savings are available immediately. ESS will not cancel, transfer, replace, or add licenses without written customer approval. Academy-only pricing depends on the selected program, cohort, delivery format, and schedule.
Our approach
Get ready. Prove what works. Then scale.
We do not start with a blanket license order. First, we make sure the right guardrails, users, workflows, pricing, and success measures are in place.
Governance-led tenant assessment
ESS reviews data readiness, security posture, permissions, compliance requirements, and relevant Microsoft Purview controls before expansion.
Pilot group deployment
We identify high-impact teams and role-based use cases that can produce credible proof before an organization-wide rollout.
Licensing and bundle evaluation
ESS checks CSP eligibility and confirms whether the organization can receive up to 30% Copilot licensing savings.
Training and continuous adoption
Role-specific enablement, change support, usage review, and measurable workflow outcomes continue beyond initial deployment.
How enrollment works
Apply first. Then book your conversation.
Complete the short Academy application, then choose a meeting time with your assigned ESS account executive. In that conversation, we look at your goals, tenant, people, workflows, licensing, and cohort fit. Cohort placement happens only after qualification.
- Your current position in the Copilot adoption journey
- Security, governance, permissions, and data-readiness gaps
- High-impact use cases for your roles and workflows
- Eligibility for ESS bundle pricing and up to 30% licensing savings
- A recommended next step without a purchase obligation

What does “up to 30%” actually mean?
It means eligible organizations may receive a Copilot license discount anywhere from 0–30%. The actual result depends on plan, prerequisite subscriptions, customer status, seat count, commitment, billing term, market, tenant eligibility, renewal timing, and active Microsoft/CSP offers. ESS confirms the exact amount in writing before purchase.
Why should we buy Copilot through ESS as our CSP?
ESS checks plan and promotion fit, prepares the quote, provisions approved licenses, supports billing and renewal questions, and can attach readiness, adoption, governance, and ongoing optimization. The goal is one accountable partner for both the subscription and the outcome.
Can ESS review licenses we already bought elsewhere?
Yes. ESS can inventory the current subscriptions, terms, billing, seats, usage, and renewal dates, then model eligible alternatives. Existing commitments can limit immediate changes, and ESS will not move or cancel anything without written approval.
Do we need Microsoft 365 Copilot licenses to start?
Not always. Copilot Chat can be a practical starting point for some users. Microsoft 365 Copilot fits when value depends on permitted work context and in-app experiences. Eligible SMBs can also consider Microsoft 365 Business Standard or Premium with Copilot.
What is the difference between Copilot, Cowork, and an agent?
Copilot commonly assists in the moment. Cowork advances bounded multi-step work with inspectable progress and approval; Microsoft bills Cowork by usage. An agent specializes around repeatable instructions, knowledge, and tools.
Can you help if adoption is already low?
Yes. We can review the rollout, interview representative users, identify useful role scenarios, address information and support friction, and rebuild the motion around real work.
Will Copilot expose information a user cannot access?
Microsoft 365 Copilot is designed to work within the signed-in user’s permissions. Existing oversharing still matters, so readiness must test and improve access and information hygiene.
Can ESS help with agents and Agent 365?
Yes. We can decide whether an agent is warranted, shape instructions and knowledge boundaries, connect approved tools, define review behavior, test it, and establish governance and lifecycle ownership.
What happens in the first session?
We discuss goals, Microsoft environment, current licenses, candidate users, a real workflow, risk requirements, and timing. You leave with product fit, initial workflow priorities, readiness gaps, and a practical next step.
The result
Confident users. Secure deployments. Productivity gains your organization can actually see.
