Make sure to completely remove any previous versions of Microsoft Office 365 that you may have installed. If it’s a new PC – then you must remove the trial for M365 by simply searching for “control panel” in the taskbar by clicking on the magnifying lens icon, then selecting Programs à uninstall a program. If you have a MAC, please search to see if you have a trial version of M365.

IF YOU HAVE A MAC. FOLLOW THESE STEPS. IF YOU HAVE A WIN 10/11 PC, YOU CAN SKIP TO STEP 4.

Launch App Cleaner & Uninstaller.

Select the Microsoft Office folder. ...

Click on the Remove button.

Review the items you want to delete and confirm the deletion.

Empty the Trash bin to completely remove Office from your Mac.

Go back to the USB drive, and double click on the only file called Office 2019HB. Select “setup.exe” with orange square icon.

While it’s installing, go to www.office.com/setup

Either sign in or create a new Microsoft account

Enter your 2-factor authentication method – email, text or both (if asked)

Enter the key on the keycard by using a coin to scratch it off.

Enter the key there and then download the 2 MB file is asked just so it registers the key under your account.

Once the software completes installing simply go to open word or ppt and then sign in using your Microsoft account. It should activate the software.
